Cancellation Policy
for Courses,Workshops & Retreats

Life can be unpredictable. The following policies are designed to be clear and fair, while also protecting the viability of the events we run.

Cancellation timeframes are calculated from the start date of the event.

(4–5 nights or similar - including Singing in the Wild)

Residential retreats involve venue hire, catering and staffing commitments made well in advance.

The structure below reflects that reality.

Deposit

The deposit secures your place and is non-refundable from the point of booking.

Your place is confirmed once the deposit has been received.
By sending your deposit, you confirm that you have read and agree to this cancellation policy.

More than 60 days before the retreat

The deposit remains non-refundable.

Any additional payments made beyond the deposit will be refunded.
Alternatively, those payments (excluding the deposit) may be transferred to another eligible event, subject to availability.

59–30 days before the retreat

The deposit remains non-refundable.

Of any additional balance paid:

  • 50% is non-refundable

  • 50% may be transferred to another eligible event, subject to availability

29–15 days before the retreat

All payments are non-refundable.

Payments (excluding the deposit) may be transferred to another eligible event, subject to availability and agreement.

14 days or fewer before the retreat

All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Transfers (Residential Retreats)

  • Transfers may be applied to another event run by Anthony or The Village Soul Project CIC

  • Transfers must be used within 12 months of the original retreat start date

  • Transfers are subject to availability

  • Transfers are personal and may not be sold or gifted without prior agreement

Non-Residential Events

(Day workshops, short courses, 2–3 day non-residential events)

Shorter events involve lower fixed costs and therefore have a slightly different structure.

More than 30 days before the event

Payments are refundable minus a £50 administrative fee (or deposit, where applicable).
Alternatively, payments may be transferred to another eligible event, subject to availability.

29–15 days before the event

50% of the event fee is non-refundable.
The remaining 50% may be transferred to another eligible event, subject to availability.

14 days or fewer before the event

All payments are non-refundable.

At our discretion, payments may be transferred if your place can be filled from a waiting list.

If We Need to Cancel

In the unlikely event that an event is cancelled by us due to unforeseen circumstances, all payments received will be refunded in full.

We are not responsible for additional costs incurred (such as travel or accommodation booked independently), so appropriate insurance is recommended where relevant.

Exceptional Circumstances

We reserve the right to exercise discretion in exceptional circumstances.

If something unexpected arises, please get in touch. We will communicate clearly and with care.

Agreement

By completing your booking and making payment, you confirm that you have read and agree to this cancellation policy.
